Young Ophthalmologist Committee
The Young Ophthalmologist (YO) Committee charge: To address the educational needs of younger or new to practice ophthalmologists, communicating their concerns to the Academy leadership, and supporting their membership and involvement in Academy activities. The major focus of these efforts is directed toward those in residency, fellowship, and the first five years of practice. Volunteers working with the YO Committee will have opportunities to assist in their efforts involving advocacy, research and writing articles, and participate on task forces and surveys.
