Placing Orders

To search for products:

  1. Enter keyword(s) or select Advanced Search.
  2. Click the Search button to submit your request.

To change the quantity of items ordered:

  1. Click on Cart Details link on the left side of the page.
  2. Change the quantity wanted.
  3. Click the Submit Changes button to finish.

To continue shopping after visiting your cart:

  1. Click on the Continue Shopping link at the top of the page.

To see member prices when non-member prices are displayed:

  1. Click on Log in for Member Pricing at the top of the page. You can also enter your login information under Your Academy Store on the left side of the page.

To accept a discount offer from a brochure or Academy mailing:

  1. Enter the promotion code when you check out of the store. Discount will then be calculated. 

For quantity or bulk discounts: Change the quantity of the item to display the discount, if any.

To order a subscription to Focal Points Print and/or Online:

  1. Add the subscription to your shopping cart and check out.

To change your billing address:

  1. Contact Member Services at 415-561-8581, or send e-mail.
  2. For credit card purchases, the billing address must match the address on file with the bank that issues the card.

Online security:

  1. The Academy uses Secure Sockets Layer software for online transactions.
  2. All credit card and personal information is encrypted when it is processed.

Completed Orders

For expedited delivery: Call Academy Customer Service at 415-561-8540.

To cancel or change an unshipped order: Call Academy Customer Service at 415-561-8540, or send e-mail to Academy Customer Service.

For returns of shipped orders:

  1. Call Academy Customer Service at 415-561-8540, or send e-mail for pre-authorization.
  2. Returns of resellable merchandise are accepted within 30 days of purchase.
  3. Refunds are not available for bookstores or resellers.
  4. Refunds are processed within four weeks of the return.

To check order status: Send e-mail to Academy Customer Service with your confirmation number, name and address.

For international addresses:

  1. The Academy does not pay import fees for orders placed outside the U.S.
  2. When you place your order, you agree to pay for any assessed duties and taxes.
